Chinese New Year: 'Tigers' say 'YES!' @ 6:44 pm
By Wiqa Halim

VERY surprisingly the Chinese Zodiac is true! According to the survey conducted on Wednesday, 10th February, students said, "Yes" to the one question asked: 'Tigers' are powerful and rebellious. They like to have lots of fun! Does this apply to you, as a Tiger?

This year, the Tigers are mostly Year 7 students. "Yes, yes, yes!" said the students when they were surveyed.

Unfortunately, there was no teacher found to be born in the Year of The Tiger.

The Chinese Zodiac consists of 12 animals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig (in order from the first to last). The Tiger is, then, further divided into five: Metal Tiger (1950 and 2010), Water Tiger (1902 and 1962), Wood Tiger (1914 and 1974), Fire Tiger (1926 and 1986) and Earth Tiger (1938 and 1998).

Tigers are "Born Leader" and always land on their feet. Tigers always choose to operate alone because they are always in such a hurry to get things perfect.

The Tiger symbolizes bravery, competitiveness and unpredictability. Tigers are believe to be compatible with a Dog and a Horse and are incompatible with a Goat and an Ox.

Celebrities who were known to be born in the Year of The Tiger are: Queen Elizabeth II, Marilyn Monroe, Sun Yet San, C.A. Lindbergh, Karl Marx and, the German composer and pianist, Beethoven.
